This funding opportunity is open to community-based organizations that have previous experience in collaborating with others to undo the racism and discrimination embedded in various systems, policies and institutions that perpetuate a cycle of exclusion, marginalization and poverty.
Up to $600,000 is available, with contributions from The City of Calgary, the Calgary Foundation and the United Way of Calgary and Area.
Funding will be directed to community-based organizations that demonstrate collaboration with other community-based organizations that are working towards anti-racism policy and system change. Collaboration means two or more organizations working together and can be formal or informal.
This online space is intended to enable community groups, organizations and individual community members impacted by racism to share project/initiative ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration. This platform is intended to be a resource to refine ideas and make connections to aid in the development of applications for the Anti-Racism Capacity Building Fund.
NOTE: Participation is not required to submit an application for funding.

Messages that do not align with the purpose of the fund will not be posted.
