Building a resilient and diversified economic powerhouse

We will build Calgary into an economic powerhouse by providing infrastructural support and tax rebates for the first five years to businesses that invest in setting up technology, agricultural, and manufacturing companies. Additional tax rebates for companies that export 50% of their goods and services to other countries. This will ensure that Calgary becomes a more diversified and resilient economy that can provide employment to people even during economic recession. This will also encourage foreign and domestic investors to build their technology base in Calgary thereby further strengthening our economy. We want to make Calgary a sought after business hub in Canada.

What will change for Calgarians if we solve this problem? (Measurable)

We will become a more diversified and resilient economy building a more sustainable future for the people in Alberta. Global recession and commodity prices will have lesser impact on the economic wellbeing of the people.

How could we make it happen with technology or data? (Attainable)

With some federal funding and certain business favourable policies will help in the growth of these businesses. This will increase employment for the people.
