Solid Oxide Fuel Cells in Landfills: Creating Energy from Waste

The Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) utilizes electrochemistry to breakdown methane gas, a GHG, to produce energy. SOFC technology has been tested and utilized at dead well sites in Alberta.
