Green Communities with high mobility

The idea I would like to submit for the city's consideration is that of modelling a community in a way that reduces Calgary's carbon footprint by over 95% (or better) in a very short amount of time -- quite possibly a matter of months.

Since my proposal is still being fleshed out and I got to know about the mayor challenge a little later, I would like to only submit the idea.

Project Leo Scalable Passive Housing

Homes and buildings account for 13% of Canada's overall greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Cumulative impacts are the total impacts  when all of an areas or industries impacts are added together. Focusing on Calgary's housing market offers a great opportunity to implement large scale change because of it's potential to attack cumulative impacts if these changes are made affordable to the average populace.
