Executive Summary

ENMAX Energy, 100% owned by the City of Calgary, generated 7.64M MWh of electricity for Calgary in 2020 from natural gas, emitting 3M tonnes of CO2 in the process.  This is the City of Calgary's largest source of GHG emissions. Only 8.5% of the electricity generated by ENMAX Energy in 2020 came from renewable sources.
