For people that are unable to visit areas and venues within Calgary in person, create virtual reality tours of those areas.
An Accessible City
Note: This challenge is now closed to new ideas at this time.
In 2015, Council adopted a notice of motion stating that the City has an obligation to build and promote a city that is accessible to persons of all ages, abilities and incomes. Currently, almost 200,000 Calgarians over the age of 15 will be living with a disability. We challenge you to think broadly and creatively to come up with ideas beyond just improving mobility.

List staff names and departments again. Many times our 311 calls goes into the virtual waste bin and we never get follow up calls or emails.
To encourage connections between people of different backgrounds. Gather people together. One person has flowers, they take the flowers to a stranger and ask them a question they've always wanted the answer to. The person answers the question and gets the flowers. And they repeat. (this idea is from my table at the civicinnovationyyc launch.
