Bow Bioenergy converting waste into low carbon fuel

Problem:  Landfills create 3.2 tonnes of CO2 equivalent for every tonne of waste landfilled.  For Calgary, that is over 600,000 tonnes of CO2 emitted annually.

Solution:  Bow Bioenergy will convert municipal waste into a low carbon fuel using the WastAway technology.  This low carbon fuel will reduce fossil fuel usage, further reducing CO2 emissions.  The WastAway technology creates high quality, virus-free  fuel which... more »
